A breath of fresh air, in the early morning, in the city of Llandudno ...
This city has kept the spirit of the resorts of the nineteenth century. There are some Victorian traces such as the pier.
In this city Lewis Carroll told little Alice, while on vacation, the story of the white rabbit and the Mad Hatter ... The city keeps the memory of the passage of Lewis Carroll with wooden carvings of the characters and other little winks.

Un bol d'air marin, au petit matin, dans la ville de Llandudno...
Cette ville a gardé l'esprit des lieux de villégiature du XIXème siècle. On y retrouve donc quelques traces victoriennes telle que la jetée de 700 m. 
Dans cette ville Lewis Carroll racontait à la petite Alice, alors en vacances, l'histoire du lapin blanc et du chapelier fou... La ville entretient le souvenir du passage de Lewis Carroll avec des sculptures en bois des personnages et autres petits clin d'oeil. 
Then, with the rain coming, we went to find shelter at Conwy Castle. Describe as the most beautiful castle in Wales, its location is really spectacular. The bad weather and the mist gave the panorama an atmosphere full of mystery ...
In front of these imposing walls and these big chimneys, it is difficult not to dream of the big burning fires, the vast tapestries and the rough life of the inhabitants.

Puis, la pluie arrivant, nous sommes allés trouver refuge au château de Conwy. Décris comme le plus beau château du Pays de Galles, son emplacement est vraiment spectaculaire. Le mauvais temps et la brume conféraient au panorama une ambiance pleine de mystère...
Devant ces murs imposants et ces grandes cheminées, difficile de ne pas rêver aux grands feux ardents, aux vastes tapisseries et à la vie rude des habitants.

On the way, we stopped to admire another castle of the Iron Ring: Beaumarais Castle. Built in 1295, it is the last castle of Edward I. He is considered the most perfect at the technical level with its swan moat, its perfectly symmetrical silhouette and its four rows of successive fortifications. This is THE ideal castle! Yet it was never completed ...

En chemin, nous nous sommes arrêtés pour admirer un autre château de la ceinture de fer : le château de Beaumarais. Construit en 1295, c'est le dernier château d'Edouard 1er. Il est considéré comme le plus parfait au niveau technique avec ses douves où nagent les cygnes, sa silhouette parfaitement symétrique et ses quatre rangées de fortifications successives. C'est LE château Idéal ! Pourtant il ne fut jamais achevé...
