JOUR 24: "Familier"

Toute bonne sorcière possède son familier. 

Ce mot vient du latin (adj) « familiaris » dérivé du substantif « familia » ("famille") signifiant "ce qui fait partie de la maison".

Un familier désigne le plus souvent un animal possédant des pouvoirs surnaturels, auquel la sorcière s'adressait pour demander des conseils ou obtenir des services. C’est son partenaire de pratiques magiques. Il peut servir son propriétaire comme domestique, espion ou compagnon et l‘aider à ensorceler leurs ennemis.

Un petit clin d’œil contemporain au stéréotype de la vieille fille, vieillissant avec ses chats….

Un petit mot en cette fin du mois d’octobre. J’ai moi-même un chat noir, il est peut-être moins « instagramable » que les autres, mais il ne porte pas malheur J
Tous les ans je suis obligée d’y faire attention pour ne pas qu’il lui arrive de mauvaises choses commises par des personnes malveillantes le 31 octobre.

A word at the end of October. I have a black cat, he may be less "photogenic" than the others, but it does not bring bad luck.
