𝕯𝖊𝖊𝖗 𝕲𝖔𝖉, 𝖆𝖓 𝕬𝖗𝖙𝖘 & 𝕮𝖗𝖆𝖋𝖙𝖘 𝕻𝖗𝖔𝖏𝖊𝖈𝖙 – 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕷𝖊𝖆𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖗 𝕮𝖆𝖘𝖊 𝕮𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓

“Dear God” is an Arts & Crafts project bringing together Yoann Lossel (artist and designer for this project), Thomas Brac (jeweler and heraldic engraver), Belfea Archerie (leather craftsman) and Thomas Leleu (gem cutter).

This film was directed by Psyche Ophiuchus and presents several days of workshop, discussions and friendship until the birth of the leather case of the jewel "Deer God".

The project was born from the meeting between Yoann Lossel and Thomas Brac de la Perrière who had the idea to combine their know-how to create an exceptional artefact. The first foundations of the refined tie pin were laid, and soon was followed by a set of challenges and requirements to go beyond bringing new craftsmen to work on this project until the emergence of a unique and complete object: the "Deer God" tie pin and its sophisticated leather case. “Deer God” is inspired by the painting “Forgotten Gods” by Yoann Lossel.

The project is aligned with the tradition of Decorative Arts or Arts & Crafts movement, very popular in the 19th century until the beginning of the 20th century. It was nourished by the superb drawings of Alfons Mucha made for the decoration of the jeweler Georges Fouquet's shop or by the whole approach of the brilliant artist William Morris, in England.

“This Arts & Crafts project aims to bring together artists and craftsmen to create precious artefacts. Beauty and the love for the « beau geste » are at the heart of our creative process, we have united our know-how in the service of this ideal. "

The artist Yoann Lossel transmitted in the design the recognizable dreaminess of his work but also the delicacy and the elegance of his line.

All the materials are selected with great care. The tie pin is hand carved and engraved by Thomas Brac, with his experience in heraldic engraving.

The case is hand sewn by Belfea, dyed with water-based dyes to maintain the quality and smell of the leather. The leathers that compose it are chosen meticulously, selected for their vegetable tanning, a method that respects environmental standards.

The stones are chosen by Thomas Leleu for the quality of their color, their purity and their supply of provisions respectful of people and the environment. They are then cut by hand to reveal their most beautiful shine.
